The fanless in-cabinet IPC with latest Intel® AtomTM Dual Core technology is characterized by extremely small dimensions and low power requirements. Two SD card slots and an optional hard disk (mSATA-SSD) provide system flexibility for data exchange and storage. It not only features an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) and remanent data storage but also many different communication ports which classify it as a general-purpose industrial control unit in machines and facilities. The pre-installed software is tailored to the end-user's needs. At present, the following operating systems are available: Windows® Embedded Compact 7, Windows® Embedded Standard 7, and Windows® XP Embedded. Application software: CODESYS V3 PLC with target and web visualisation, Softmotion, EtherCAT® and CANopen® configurators.
