Honeywell TruStability™ RSC Series and digital versions (SPI or I?C) of HSC Series and SSC Series Board Mount Pressure Sensors: The Sensor Evaluation Kit (SEK001), the readily-available, user-provided items shown in the list below, and the free evaluation software available, comprise a simple set of products to evaluate Honeywell TruStability™ RSC Series, and the digital versions (SPI or I?C) of Honeywell TruStability HSC Series, and SSC Series Board Mount Pressure Sensors. The SEK001 allows the user to obtain sensor readings without needing to develop any code. The sensor to be evaluated is mounted into the receiving sockets on the SEK001. The SEK001 is then plugged in as a shield board to the Arduino Uno Microcontroller Board. Honeywell evaluation software, downloaded to the user’s PC, controls the Arduino™ Uno Microcontroller Board to take sensor readings that are then displayed on the PC. The readings may also be recorded to a .csv file for further analysis, and, in the case of the RSC Series, used in the equations found in the RSC Series datasheet. In addition to being mounted directly on the SEK001, the sensor may also be remotely connected to the SEK001 via wire leads, allowing the sensor to be tested in adverse environments, or in a prototype product for proof of concept testing. The SEK001 has sockets to receive TruStability HSC, SSC Series pressure sensors with I2C or SPI digital output, as well as the new TruStability RSC Series high resolution pressure sensors. The board is then plugged in as a shield board to the user-provided Arduino Uno Rev3 board. (All sensors are sold separately. Only one sensor may be evaluated at a time.)

Five jumpers for an HSC Series or SSC Series, I 2C output, 5 Vdc pressure sensor are preconfigured on the board.
