The OPTO2S/3M is a miniature safety switch of category 1 utilizing the ACOTOM® process. It is specifically designed for detecting the opening of tight access areas, such as manholes or trap doors. Constructed with two elements in PA6 (transmitter and receiver), it offers two normally open (NO) contact lines safeguarded by a 250mA fast fuse. When connected to a safety relay, it achieves safety category 4.
Key features include a maximum activation distance of 10 mm with a 2 mm hysteresis, providing reliable performance. The detection encoding employs a mono-code system, ensuring inviolable operation. An LED indicator facilitates code recognition. Automatic reset functionality enhances operational efficiency.
The switch is equipped with four tamper-proof M3 screws for secure attachment. Its mounting position, utilizing double wall brackets, ensures versatile installation options. Marking is facilitated through pad printing, accompanied by a unique serial number for traceability, enhancing accountability and safety compliance.
