The 2SSR24BX/3M is a polyamide non-contact coded safety switch equipped with a 3m cable. It functions as a coded electronic autonomous sensor utilizing the ACOTOM process, specially designed to detect the opening of mobile protectors on hazardous machines.
One of its key features is the alignment of the two targets on the receiver and transmitter, which, upon recognition of codes, triggers the NO safety line to close while the NC line opens. This action is accompanied by the illumination of a red LED on the receiver side, indicating proper code recognition. Notably, physical contact between the two parts is unnecessary for effective detection, as the switch operates within a 4mm distance.
Primarily, the 2SSR24BX/3M is employed for position control of doors and casings on dangerous machinery. It serves as a contactless encoded electronic sensor with relay, capable of distinguishing up to 8 zone differentiation codes.
